After three days of showcasing and in-depth exchanges, the 24th Vietnam International Shoes & Leather Exhibition came to a successful conclusion on July 12, 2024. As one of the influential and technologically advanced footwear and leather industry events in the ASEAN region, this exhibition not only solidified its position as a benchmark for leading industry trends but also promoted the integration and development of the global industry chain.

The exhibition brought together over 800 exhibitors who presented innovative products and cutting-edge technologies, attracting the enthusiastic participation of more than 15,000 professional attendees. Inside the venue, a wide array of novel technologies and products overwhelmed the senses, enhancing the competitiveness of the entire industry and injecting new momentum into its transformation and sustainable development.

D&A Edge Polymer

As a leader in the industry, D&A Edge Polymer has long regarded the development of green technology as one of its core strategies. With a sense of responsibility towards environmental protection, the company pioneered the development of the BIO-Circul®️ bio-based edge paint series in 2020, marking a solid step forward for  D&A Edge Polymer in the path of sustainable development and setting a new benchmark for the entire industry.

At this exhibition, the BIO-Circul®️ bio-based edge paint series became one of the highlights, attracting the attention and inquiries of numerous exhibitors and professional attendees. This series not only showcases D&A Edge Polymer’s innovative strength in the field of green technology but also offers a variety of creatively designed edge paint special effects. These effects enrich the range of products and application solutions, meeting the market demand for personalized innovative products.

D&A Creative Project

In the D&A Creative Project exhibition area, we collaborated closely with the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, ushering in a new era of cross-disciplinary art. At the Vietnam Leather Exhibition, the talented young generation from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology showcased their exceptional creative talent, leaving industry professionals deeply impressed and captivated. Their remarkable works not only garnered admiration but also symbolized the fruitful collaboration between the D&A Creative Project and the esteemed institute.

This collaboration signifies a deep resonance between both parties regarding the concept of sustainable development. Acting as a bridge, this partnership blends the limitless creativity of the younger generation with the ambitious vision of sustainable development, transforming their works into vibrant embodiments of environmental protection, responsibility, and future aspirations. Moreover, it exemplifies D&A Group’s unwavering support for youth innovation and its steadfast commitment to promoting green and sustainable development.

Lorence

Lorence has earned widespread recognition and high praise in the field of green leather care for its outstanding contributions. In this exhibition, Lorence not only successfully showcased its latest developments in bio-based cleaners and bio-based cleaning gels, but also generated strong interest within the leather industry due to the high bio-based content of these two products (reaching 96% and 88% respectively) and their excellent performance.

These two bio-based products, leveraging the advantages of natural plant materials, perfectly embody Lorence’s deep commitment to environmental protection and consumer health. Visitors at the exhibition witnessed firsthand in the experience area how these products achieve deep cleaning and nourishment without compromising the integrity of leather goods. Their gentle yet effective characteristics received unanimous praise from everyone.

Technical Control

At this exhibition, Technical Control presented its environmentally friendly coating materials that lead the industry trend, offering a comprehensive demonstration of green, efficient, and sustainable leather coating solutions through practical application.

The glossy resin top coat became a focal point of attention for many visitors during the exhibition. Its excellent gloss, transparency, wear resistance, and weather resistance, widely applied in leather products such as shoes, belts, sofas, and luggage, received unanimous acclaim during the exhibition.

The waterborne matt PU showcased by Technical Control also left a deep impression. This revolutionary product, with its unique environmental characteristics – being Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)-free – brings a natural matte effect and a soft, comfortable rubbery touch to leather products, allowing visitors to personally experience the charm of green coating technology.
